Description
The project is promoting local enterprises to produce construction materials to bridge the gap between supply and demand, focusing on alternative materials that have proved effective in other earthquake-hit countries.
Pasang Dendup built his small tea shop in his small village in Langtang using the stone cutting machine supported by the project. Due to unavailability of road access, a sack of cement more than doubles in price before it reaches his village.
