Abstract
During my tour of Faridpur slums I was also able to watch a drama presentation put on by the staff of one of our partner NGOs. The drama was aimed at raising awareness of basic health services available from the partner and used comedy to contrast the lack of effectiveness of those peddling ‘quack remedies’ with the services available from health posts. It drew a large crowd and seemed an effective way of getting message across.
