Abstract

What key factors and considerations should last mile distributors weigh up before deciding if carbon finance is a viable funding source for their companies? This report provides an overview of carbon credits, carbon markets, and carbon projects while exploring the opportunities, challenges, and role of carbon revenue for last mile distribution businesses; with particular consideration of the process of setting up a carbon project (and the different models available), and the associated set-up costs and financing.
