Abstract
This article describes the mechanisms put in place by the people displaced in the province of Binguela Angola to meet their domestic energy needs. Repeated wars have forced people to abandon their homes and settle in camps located in the Coastal Area. Energy resources in these areas are scarce, forcing people to buy wood or coal sometimes wood by selling some of the food provided by agencies aid or exchanging their services.
