A Google.org Sponsored Project in Kenya The SEI, with Kenyan partners ACTS and Practical Action, aims to explore how to deploy information on climate change, potential impacts and integrated vulnerability assessment using Google Earth as amyeettle for engaging key stakeholders and wider public participation in adaptation decisions. The pilot project in Kenyai aims to explore the next steps in the rapidly changing landscape of climate adaptation. The project is funded by the philanthropic Google.org foundation and aims to develop the work being led by the SEI Oxford Office on developing techniques, tools, and communities of practice to support climate change adaptation decision making through the we ADAPT platform, including the use of Google Earth technology.
