Abstract
Aerial ropeway was 162 metres long and would meet the needs of 85 communities. These ropeways provide an invaluable service to the poor communities up live high up in the hills of Nepal. They enable them to transport good to markets in a matter of minutes rather than hours, meaning they get a better price for them because they are fresher and it is cheaper that employing a porter to carry goods.
