Abstract
Fish/Farmer group in Kailali. The SABAL project works directly with marginalised groups with little or no land, and provides access to community land and ponds in support activities. Community Fish Farming has proven a successful model in Kailali, with groups (typically 20 members per group) earning NRs 130,000 per season from 0.16 hectares of leased land and doubling their incomes through part-time involvement in these activities.
