Abstract
This gender and markets project in Mozambique was a small part of a larger program to improve small businesses in Southern Africa through the training of women community workers in household and productive uses of electricity. This particular project gave the group access to energy so that they could freeze and preserve fish before selling them at market to earn a living. The project was funded by NORAD through the Norwegian Embassy.
