Abstract
PROJECT: 100W MICRO WIND POWER GENERATORS TO SUPPLY CLEAN ENERGY IN POOR RURAL AREAS OF PERU At the end of November 2007, thanks to the financial aid provided by various development aid organizations, electricity was provided to the El Alumbre community through small 100 W wind power generators installed in every home in the community, as well as a 500 W scheme for the school. This is a pioneering experience in the country, whereby advantage was taken of the wind speed to generate power and provide an entire community with an electrification service.
