Abstract
El Progresso Coffee Project - Cloud Forests, San Martin, Peru Normel owns the coffee farm in the Cloud Forests. Practical Action supplied him with a polytunnel so that he can dry his high quality coffee beans quicker. He and his son pick the red ripe beans, dry them in the sun, rake them to turn them over so that they do not condensate, then process them before taking them to market. The red machine was not supplied by Practical Action, but we trained Normel on how to effectively process his beans on the machine.
