Abstract
Practical Action Bangladesh has been supporting the effort towards establishing a comprehensive city-wide Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) to the urban population of Faridpur district thorugh an advanced and systematic approach by the municipal authority for ensuring an environmentally safe and financially sustainable private sector-led replicable model for a developing country. The institutional and Regulatory framework of Government of Bangladesh, which is underway of approval, also reflects this model for secondary town.
