Description

Compressed Stabilised Earth Bricks are locally produced alternative construction material to fired bricks. The project is promoting local enterprises to produce construction materials to bridge the gap between supply and demand, focusing on alternative materials that have proved effective in other earthquake-hit countries. Simon Tamang, a project supported entrepreneur, loads up a lorry with Earth Bricks produced in his enterprise. The locally produced earth bricks (Compressed Stabilized Earth Bricks) is gradually gaining popularity while Simon is thinking of expanding his business by adding another CSEB machine.
