Abstract
In Sept 2006 and in Dec 2007, Practical Action in Nepal installed two small scale wind power plants in Phakhel village in the Makawanpur district. In two households, 13 people (7 women and 6 men) are benefitting from small scale wind power plants. The wind power plants are supported by Mrs. Margaret & Mr. George Taylor (UK) & University of Catalonia, Spain. Photo contest entrant 2009.
