Abstract
The majority of communities worldwide pollute ground water resources and the environment as a result of flush toilets. Another portion of the world’s population do not have access to any sanitaryfacilities due to their adverse environmental conditions in their living environments such as flooding or excessive dryness, rocky earth or limitations of space.This manual discusses how and why ecological sanitation (eco san) options are necessary under these circumstances, and offers some other sanitation options - options which are favorable to the environment, and yours and others’ health.
