Practical Action undertook a study on Satkhira municipality, Bangladesh, to understand the nature of vulnerability of this township, its essential services, and its people, their livelihoods and wellbeing due to prolonged waterlogging; to identify potential and recommended practical Nature-based Solutions interventions to reduce their vulnerabilities, and to come up with an actionable plan to implement these recommendations that are suited to the local context, policies, capacities, resources and needs.
