Sara Ogai, 42 year old landlady, Nyalenda A I used others toilets before. It was difficult every time I needed the toilet. On my plot I have four rooms. I built the toilet but agreed to share with others. Four households use the facility, if a neighbour wants to use it then they can. There’s a rotation for cleaning it and people have to wash it with water after use. I had a problem with my tenants, they said they would not pay their rent because there was no toilet. Now it’s good. I was feeling very bad for my tenants. They were getting angry but I could not afford a toilet. When I had a meeting about the project, I felt happy.
