Abstract
Practical Action Consulting (PAC) is a pioneering organisation in humanitarian energy. We have significant experience working with refugees, humanitarian organisations, private sector and governments to facilitate access to renewable energy through market-systems development. We utilise a variety of business & delivery models to address the different levels of energy needs in displacement settings. All our interventions are designed with refugee and host communities at the core, by engaging them in every stage of our programmes: from collaborative design processes that enable buy-in from all the key stakeholders, to comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning processes that facilitate continuous improvement and flexible approaches, and co-design of sustainability strategies to ensure that communities will be benefit from the technologies in the long-term. This document provides on overview of PAC's work in the humanitarian energy sector.
